What time of year do you apply for your MBA?
Business schools typically have three rounds of application deadlines: Round 1 in September or October, Round 2 in January, and Round 3 in March. Some schools have early action or early decision rounds, and some have Round 4 in April, May, or even June. MBA application deadlines are fairly consistent from year to year, but do vary slightly.
Is it too late to apply for MBA programs?
This really depends on when you are thinking about applying, but really, it is never too late! We recommend applying to MBA programs in the application round when you can submit your very best MBA application. Generally speaking, we recommend applying in Round 1 or Round 2, and avoiding Round 3 as much as possible. Whatever you do, do not rush your application. If you are not ready, you can always strengthen your profile and apply in the next application round or application season.
Is it better to apply early to MBA programs?
There is generally no advantage to applying before MBA application deadlines, as admissions committees will wait to review until the deadlines. We do recommend applying in Round 1 or Round 2, rather than waiting for Round 3 or later.
What time is the Harvard MBA application due?
Harvard Business School has two application deadlines: Round 1 in September and Round 2 in January. For the 2024-2025 MBA application deadlines, the dates are September 4, 2024 and January 6, 2025.
