MBA/Business School Admissions Consultant

 

Job Description

Accepted is looking to hire an experienced MBA admissions consultant to join our team in guiding our clients  through the entire MBA application process. Our admissions consultants are passionate about helping our clients gain acceptance to the top business schools around the world.

As an Accepted admissions consultant, you would have the following responsibilities:

  1. Work one-on-one with clients helping them navigate the admissions process, which could include school selection, brainstorming, essay revision, resume construction, interview preparation, waitlist strategy, and decision counseling.
  2. Conduct free consultations to advise prospective applicants and answer initial questions
  3. Write and revise blog posts for the Accepted blog
  4. Lead and/or participate in webinars
  5. Attend staff meetings

We are looking for people with the following qualifications:

  1. At least 3 years of experience working on a business school admissions committee or as a chair, director, or dean of admissions for a business school; or in an undergraduate pre-professional advising role with a focus on business and graduate management education
  2. An eagle-eye for editing
  3. Outstanding writing and mentoring skills
  4. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  5. Excellent public speaking skills
  6. A desire to explore a flexible and exciting opportunity

This is a part-time, independent contractor, remote-work opportunity.

The potential consultant cannot work simultaneously in a graduate admissions capacity for a university and for Accepted.

College Admissions Consultant

Social Media Strategist/Content Producer

Job description

Accepted is looking to hire a full-time, 100% remote social media strategist to join our small but passionate marketing team.

We are looking for someone to…

  • Develop and manage our social media strategy, including optimizing current channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, and TikTok) and expanding into new channels
  • Create, write, edit, and occasionally star in dynamic, on-brand content for social media, including designing graphics, editing videos, and writing copy with the goal of increasing brand awareness and driving engagement
  • Post content daily and maintain posting calendar in our project management system 
  • Collaborate with a team of marketers, designers, writers, and creators
  • Establish deadlines and follow up with creators on deliverables
  • Build and maintain relationships with followers and influencers
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance across channels, offering suggestions for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends to propose innovative ideas for improvement, while keeping content relevant, appropriate and within brand guidelines

This job is for you if…

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • You have 1-2 years of social media marketing and content creation experience, ideally in a B2C environment and preferably in an educational field
  • You have a proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns and increasing customer engagement through social media
  • You live and breathe social media, constantly thinking of innovative ways to drive business through social channels
  • You have excellent video editing skills and experience using Riverside, Flixier or a similar program
  • You have proficiency in Canva or other design programs in creating visually appealing graphics
  • You have impeccable verbal and, most importantly, written communication skills
  • You have a strong understanding of SEO and how to maximize it
  • You are a detail-oriented, creative thinker
  • You enjoy being a team player and can easily multitask, but also are able to work independently
  • You have reliable Internet access
