Born and raised in America, I graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a
major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. Throughout my years in academia I
consistently edited the work of my classmates and even that of a professor.
I further employed and developed my writing and organizational skills during my work in
the financial services industry in New York City where I was responsible for molding the
numbers-based research of financial analysts into coherent, readable reports. I swung in
a 180-degree turn from the financial markets to work in the not-for-profit arena in Los
Angeles, California. There I further honed my writing and organizational skills while
helping establish the base for a national ethics awareness program and organizing
community activities.
Now living in Israel, I find that my English and editing skills are in high demand as a
result of the increasing globalization of the Israeli economy. I have edited the coursework
and writing assignments of students in TOEFL and GMAT preparation courses, as well as helped
Israelis prepare resumes and cover letters for job applications to American companies located
here in Israel. And, of course, I have worked extensively helping foreign students earn
admission to the top American graduate programs. It is especially gratifying to help talented
foreign students highlight their individuality and the special contribution they will make to
the American learning environment. After working independently with foreign students for a few
years, I began working for Accepted.com in 1998.
